I enjoyed this book. It was well written and held my attention through out the read. It was interesting to follow the authors detailed description of the risks when alien culture meet. Sometimes what appears to be a minor irritant can explode into a reason for war.
Instead of the typical giant battles, and amazing weapons the story focused more on the cultures and the process of discovering each other. To me it was a refreshing break from the typical ‘shoot ’em up’ Sci-Fi.Ray Jay Perreault
